Do I fall asleep with the orthosis in my mouth?

Test the orthosis during the day. You will notice that after a while you will no longer feel it (from 1 to 20 minutes according to patients). It is easier to adapt to DUAL CONFORT® than a chemical product in your mouth or opt for a heavy device.
The test deserves to be done.

Any risk of swallowing it?

Its form and its design have enabled DUAL CONFORT® to pass all the safety tests without ambiguity. Remember, it is vital that you read the instructions and do not modify the orthosis.

What is it made out of?

DUAL CONFORT® is injected into a silicon material of medical and hypoallergenic quality. This material has been approved by the FDA (with American approval being considered as the strictest reference worldwide for personal safety).

Do I keep the orthosis in all night?

During sleep, you will naturally seek to expel it. According to individuals, you will require 1 to 5 nights to keep DUAL CONFORT® in throughout the duration of the sleep.
However, even if during the first nights, you only wear DUAL CONFORT® for a few hours, your spouse will immediately benefit.

What about saliva?

The first nights, you will notice a lot of salivation. This phenomenon disappears between 1 to 5 nights according to the subjects. Through the design of DUAL CONFORT®, you can move the jaw and swallow normally.

Sleep Apnoea?

Important : in case of sleep apnoea syndrom, a medical advice is recommended.
The reference treatment remains the Continuous Positive Airway Pressure treatment.
DUAL CONFORT® can be tried in case of inability to tolerate this CPAP treatment, upon medical advice, with a careful control of efficiency.
