A DUAL CONFORT® case is a cardboard box that contains 2 orthosis for preventing snoring placed in a sealed packet with instructions.
EFFECTIVE
Besides the 92% satisfaction level during patient tests, we recorded convincing results.
COMFORTABLE
Due to its shape and material, the orthosis is positioned naturally in the mouth and instantaneously adapts to practically all morphologies.
ECONOMIC
A DUAL CONFORT® kit lasts for one year so, it’s a sweet price per month.
A simple solution for a complex issue, took a long time to perfect in order to avoid the pitfalls of existing products.
The finished product is an orthosis, a biconvex membrane (3 D) in the form of an hourglass with a wide neck, a central diaphysis, and an epiphysis at each end. It is made of medical silicon, food quality, hypoallergenic.
It is not fixed in order to naturally find its place in the mouth (between the cheeks & dentition): we call it a moveable orthosis.
It will allow the snorer to close the jaw and natural movements, and saliva to be swallowed. It prevents the jaw moving back and forces the snorer to breath through the nose.
INNOVATIVE FEATURES
The orthosis is moveable, not fixed by a mechanical system.
It is light and can be positioned naturally in the mouth.
Its shape and its material ensure it instantaneously adapts to different morphologies.
Depending on the patient, the habituation period takes from several minutes to 3 nights. In several rare cases, up to 5 nights were needed so that the patient forgot that he was sleeping with an orthosis in his mouth.
The second orthosis placed on the night table ensures that the patient who has expelled the first one during his sleep does not have to search for it in the bed before going back to sleep.
After several weeks or several months of using the orthosis, tests have shown that for some subjects, nasal breathing can become a reflex again. The wearing of the membrane is no longer required and the patient no longer snores. It involves a true re-education of nasal breathing.
This is a less restrictive system, more comfortable than the other products.
Contraindications:
• Known allergy to silicon.
• Nighttime cough.
• Lesions on the mucous membranes, gingivitis, ulcers.
• Incorrect bite.
Showing interesting potential, the local authorities have expressed an interest in testing or offering DUAL CONFORT® to some of their staff. Specific tests are currently underway.
